Saranto P. Calamas, CPA, MBA

Saranto started his practice in 1992 with 1 client, a Greek Port Jefferson Attorney from a spare room in his Mom's house converted into an office. After the 2nd day and Mom's little Bijon Frise jumping all over the new clients, it was time to move to a more professional office. Saranto began subleasing office space from a local accountant and paying rent through barter. Several years later we have moved and outgrown 4 locations and are again looking for a larger building now for the staff of 14.

Saranto received his Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration from New York University. He was employed with Ernst & Young, LLP right out of college, before starting his own firm in Port Jefferson, where he grew up. Saranto has over 20 years in public accounting experience as a CPA. His industry experience is in small closely held business advisory services, real estate accounting and investing, and assistance various clients in the service industries. Saranto utilizes a hands on advisory approach to clients business, which resulted in rapid growth from client referrals, as business advertising is kept minimal. We feel the best advertising are happy, well served clients.
